A superpower
“Ever since I was a young girl, I’ve been drawn to the idea of taking something old and giving it a new happy life.
From everyday packaging to my mother’s fabric off cuts, I’d make art, props for pretend play or dresses for myself and my barbies.
The possibilities felt endless.

Transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary thanks to my imagination and my hands was like a superpower.
This confidence and this ability to be in my own creative bubble is something I keep chasing as an adult, and vow to transmit to my son, in an era where digital devices and social media take more and more space.
My art today
Today, as an artist, my work combines this love for upcycling with the idea of holding on to precious memories, preserving them in a way that sparks joy.
The idea of my “Childhood memories unboxed” collection started when I found myself emotionally unable to part with my son’s outgrown clothes, toys and drawings, but instead, found joy in repurposing them into colourful works of art, celebrating and somehow eternalising his childhood.
My creations are a blend of Pop Art inspired by my childhood era, the 80’s and 90’s and Street Art, inspired by London where I have lived most of my adult life.
A huge part of my art process is the choice of uplifting colours, from rainbows to pastels, always elevated with black. I truly believe in the power of colours and that if you stare long enough at a colourful piece of art, your mood will lift a little.
And here goes my purpose as an artist.
Happy Art
Brighten homes and uplift moods via an instant release of dopamine, a way to lighten our mind in a world that can sometimes feel heavy.
This is why I call it “Happy Art”.
