Kind'er Surprise

2026 · 45cm

Vintage Kinder surprise toys from the 90's, resin and acrylic on canvas, 45cm diameter

Part of the Happy Dais' series, Kinder Surprise is a celebration of colour, play and the tiny treasures of childhood. The flower is filled with preloved Kinder Surprise toys from the 90s, arranged by colour across its petals around an oversized smiley centre. Laser-cut acrylic creates the bold black outline, while layers of resin give each petal a glossy, almost sweet-like finish. Sitting somewhere between painting, sculpture and childhood collection, the piece turns nostalgic little objects into one big burst of joy.
